The Alaska Master Gardeners Anchorage welcomes you to browse our site and enjoy the many benefits of being a master gardener. Here you will find information on how to join, how to become a master gardener, public gardens to visit and many articles via our newsletter to read and learn about gardening in Alaska; being a master gardener is not a requirement to joining the AMGA.
There are garden tips, links to other master gardener sites within the state of Alaska, and photos of gardens that master gardeners visit on summer tours.
Meetings are free and open to the public. Master Gardeners are a great bunch of people with the ultimate goal of learning about gardening and sharing their knowledge with anyone interested in this healthy, enjoyable pastime. We look forward to seeing you at one of our monthly meetings.
To promote availability of gardening information to Alaska citizens as a result of University study and experimentation.
